Ayurveda has been at the forefront of providing treatment for joint pain for centuries. Famous Aruvedacharya doctor Pratap Chauhan of Jeeva explained about the problems related to joints and their treatment. Probably none of the other treatment methods have such a good grip on diseases related to joints and their treatment as in Ayurveda. For generations in India, especially older people have been taking advantage of Ayurveda to relieve joint pain. Even today, in the second stage of age, the complaint of joint pain is the most heard. Knee pain has become a common problem in senior citizens, although other joint problems are also seen in people of this age.

Ayurveda is like Ram Baan for people suffering from joint pain in both young and old age. In India, the problem of joint pain increases during the rainy season from July to the end of August. Perhaps this time would be best for you to understand how Ayurveda can help you in getting rid of this trouble.

It is sad that people usually do not understand the diseases related to the joints and their causes. So when they are troubled by joint pain, they start taking analgesic and inflammatory removal medications and keep taking them for years, in the hope that their discomfort will go away. When they find that there is no permanent benefit from these medicines, they turn to Ayurveda. But by this time it is late. If they start Ayurvedic treatment only when the initial symptoms of the disease are seen, then they can get far better results and can get rid of the problem of joint pain forever.

    Due to joint pain
Joint pain and swelling occurs when there is a disturbance in the normal functioning or structure of the joints. Joint pain can occur due to many conditions and causes. The main reasons for this are inflammation, infection, bruising, allergies and general wear of the joints. Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, vascular arthritis, rheumatic lymphatic disease, drug-induced arthritis, bursitis, and obesity are some of the medical causes of joint pain.

    Ayurveda thoughts on joint pain
Ayurveda has its own concept and clinical thinking for the solution, maintenance and treatment of joint problems. In Ayurveda, joints are called sandhi and joints are made up of bone and marrow metal. The ligament that binds the joints is made of blood metal, which is subject to bile defects. The mucous cuff provides smoothness to the joints, while vata is important for the movement of joints.

The properties of all these defects are almost opposite to each other. Kapha is oily, viscous, thick and light, while vata is dry and moving. On the other hand, bile is hot, intense and stable. There is a very complex balance of all these defects in the joints and the slightest imbalance can affect the structure and functioning of the joints, resulting in joint pain.

For the joints to work efficiently, free flow of vata is essential. If there is an obstruction in its passage, the functioning of the joints is adversely affected, and it can cause pain. According to Ayurveda, the food eaten digests jathagni. When gastritis slows down, digestion goes awry. Mango accumulates in the body due to poor digestion and when these toxins, which begin to accumulate in the common joints, block the passage of Vata, causing joint pain.

    Ayurvedic treatment in joint pain

Ayurvedic treatment in joint pain works at the root of the disease as a whole. This treatment works according to various rules. Some of these are as follows.

Deepan: Illuminating gastritis with the help of medicines and fasting (fast). When a person's appetite decreases due to accumulation of toxic substances in the body, this rule is used to illuminate the gastrointestinal tract.

Digestion: Digesting toxins with the help of medicines, herbs, digestive substances and exercise. Accumulation of toxins in the joints and body is often the main cause of joint pain, so digestion regimen helps in digesting these elements and getting them out of the body. Medicines like Amrita, Nirgundi and Shunthi are very helpful in digesting the mangoes of the body.

Lubrication: Consuming ghee in oil massage, oil bath or balsamic food is very effective for reducing enlarged vata. Eating oily substances like oil, ghee, marrow and fat is very effective in the treatment of joint pain.

Apart from this, Panchakarma method such as sweating, purgation, colony and lapan is also advised in joint pain.

It is possible to get rid of joint pain by using the rules of Ayurveda properly, eating the right foods and lifestyle. Ayurveda is one of the best treatment methods for preventing joint pain, correct care and treatment. If you, your family or friends have any joint pain problem, then this is the right time to move to Ayurveda.
